Photeria uses a credit system so new organizations can shoot listings without being charged while they ramp up. This article covers how credits work, how they're applied, and where to track usage.

Photeria uses a credit system so new organizations can shoot listings without being charged while they ramp up. This article covers how credits work, how they're applied, and where to track usage.
What credits do
One credit covers one listing. When a listing is marked Shot and your organization has credits, a credit is consumed automatically and the charge becomes $0.
How you get credits
Signup credits
Every new organization receives a batch of free credits on signup. Ready to use immediately. Default is 5, though this may vary by plan or promotion.
Additional credits
- Manual grants from the Photeria team
- Admin adjustments to correct billing issues
- Referrals - refer another photographer and earn credits when they sign up (see Settings β Referrals)
How credits are applied
Credits are used automatically, always applied first before any billable charge. If you have credits available, they cover the listing at no cost.
Checking your balance
On the Billing page:
- Current Usage card - a "Credits Available" tile in the stats row
- The same card shows "Credits Used" so you know how many have been applied this cycle
The Current Usage card
Real-time summary of the current billing period:
- Total due (large dollar amount at top)
- Due date (end of the billing period)
- Listings - billable listing count this cycle
- Credits Used - credits applied this cycle
- Credits Available - remaining balance
Example
10 listings shot this month, per-listing price $8, 3 covered by credits:
- 7 Γ $8 = $56 billable
- 3 listings free via credits
- Total due: $56
Credit restoration on cancellation
If a job is cancelled and a credit was used for it, the credit is returned to your balance automatically. You don't lose credits for called-off shoots.
FAQ
Can I buy more credits?
Credits are granted by Photeria. Contact support about additional credits or custom pricing.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits stay on your account until used.
What's my per-listing price?
Default is $8. Your organization may have custom pricing. You can see your effective rate on the Current Usage card.
Can I see which listings used credits?
The Current Usage card shows aggregate counts. For a per-listing breakdown, contact support; detailed charge records aren't exposed in the UI today.
