Delivering a job
Delivering a job is the final step in your workflow. It sends the client a polished email with links to download their media and view the property website. This article walks you through the delivery process from start to finish.
Before You Deliver
Before delivering a job, make sure you have completed these steps:
- All appointments are marked as "Shot." This confirms that the on-site work is complete.
- Media has been uploaded to the listing. Navigate to the listing page to upload photos, videos, virtual tours, and any other deliverables.
- The listing looks good. Preview the property website to make sure everything displays correctly.
How Jobs and Listings Are Connected
Every job in Photeria has a linked listing. The listing is created automatically when you create the job. It shares the same property address and client information.
The listing is where you:
- Upload and organize photos (including slideshow ordering)
- Add videos, floor plans, virtual tours, and other media
- Set up the property website that clients and their buyers can visit
- Configure the download page where clients grab their files
To get to a job's listing, go to the Listings page and find the listing by address, or navigate directly from the listing URL.
Delivering the Listing
Once your media is uploaded and organized, you are ready to deliver:
- Open the listing detail page for the job
- Click the Deliver Listing button. On desktop, this button appears in the top-right area next to the Preview button. On mobile, it appears at the top of the page.
- A delivery dialog opens where you can review and customize the email that will be sent to the client
- The email includes:
- The client's name
- The property address
- A hero image from the listing (pulled from the first slideshow image or the first gallery photo)
- A link to the download page where the client can grab their files
- A link to the property website
- Send the delivery email
What Happens When You Deliver
When you send the delivery email, Photeria automatically:
- Sets the job status to "Delivered" and records the delivery timestamp
- Marks any remaining "Scheduled" or "Arrived" appointments as "Shot" since the job is now complete
- Sends the email to the primary client (agent) on file
The job will now appear under the "Delivered" tab on the Jobs page.
Re-Delivering a Listing
If you need to send the delivery email again (for example, after updating photos or adding new media), you can do so at any time:
- Open the listing detail page
- The button now reads Re-Deliver Listing
- Click it to send another delivery notification to the client
There is no limit on how many times you can re-deliver.
Previewing Before Delivery
Before sending, you can preview exactly what the client will see:
- On the listing detail page, click the Preview button
- This opens the property website in a new tab
- Check that photos are in the right order, videos play correctly, and all sections look the way you want
After Delivery
Once a job is delivered, you will typically want to:
- Send an invoice if the client has not yet paid. Go to the job detail page, find the Invoice card, and click Send Invoice.
- Record any payments as they come in.
- Archive the job once it is fully paid and complete. This moves it out of your active pipeline.
Delivery Checklist
Here is a quick checklist to run through before hitting "Deliver":
- All photos are uploaded and ordered correctly
- Slideshow images are selected (if applicable)
- Videos are uploaded and playing correctly
- Virtual tour or 3D walkthrough links are added (if applicable)
- The property website URL slug is set
- The client's email address is correct on the job
- All appointments are marked as "Shot"
