Every listing in Photeria is built from sections.
Sections are the building blocks of both your editing experience and the public property website. You can reorder them, toggle their visibility, add new ones, and remove the ones you do not need.
What Are Sections?
Each section represents a distinct part of the listing. By default, a new listing comes with these sections:
Reordering Sections
The order of sections on your listing detail page directly controls the order they appear on the property website.
- Find the drag handle (the six-dot grip icon) on the left side of any section header.
- Click and drag the section up or down to reposition it.
- Release to drop it in the new position.
The new order is saved automatically.
Toggling Section Visibility
You might want to keep a section's content but hide it from the property website. For example, if a property does not have a 3D tour yet, you can hide the 3D Content section.
- Click the eye icon on the right side of the section header.
- When hidden, the section will appear dimmed with a "Hidden" badge.
- Click the eye icon again to make it visible.
Hidden sections still appear in your admin view so you can edit them, but they will not be displayed on the public property website.
Expanding and Collapsing Sections
Click on a section header to expand or collapse it. This does not affect the property website. It is just for keeping your editing workspace tidy.
- Expanded sections show the full content area where you can manage media and settings.
- Collapsed sections show only the header with the section name, item count, and action buttons.
Adding New Sections
If a section type is not already on your listing, you can add it:
- Scroll to the bottom of the Media area.
- Click the Add New Item button.
- A popover will appear with available section types:
- Hero
- Images
- Videos
- 3D Content
- Floor Plans
- Contact Info
- Map
- Custom Info Block
- Files
- Open Houses
Click on the section you want to add.
Sections that are already on the listing will appear grayed out with an "Added" badge.
The new section will be added to the bottom of your section list. You can then drag it to the position you want.
Deleting Sections
Some sections can be removed entirely from the listing:
- Click the trash icon on the right side of the section header (only available for deletable sections).
- For sections that contain media (Images, Videos, 3D Content, Floor Plans, Hero, Open Houses), a confirmation dialog will appear warning you that all associated content will be permanently deleted.
- For sections without media content (Map, Contact Info, Custom Info Block, Files), the section is deleted immediately without a confirmation prompt.
Important notes about section deletion:
- The Listing Details section cannot be deleted. It can only be hidden.
- Deleting the Images section removes all uploaded photos and their storage files permanently.
- Deleting the Videos section removes all video records and any uploaded video files.
- Deleting the Hero section removes all slideshow image associations.
- Deleting the Open Houses section removes all scheduled open house dates.
Section Item Counts
Sections that contain media show a count badge next to their title, so you can see at a glance how many items are in each section without expanding it. For example, "Images 24" means there are 24 photos in the gallery.
The Contact Info Section
The Contact Info section is a bit different from the others. It automatically pulls information from the primary agent assigned to the listing, including their name, email, and phone number. You do not need to enter this information manually.
You can also toggle the Enable contact form switch to control whether visitors can submit a contact form on the property website.
The Map Section
The Map section displays an interactive map based on the property's coordinates. If the property has latitude and longitude data (set from the job), the map will appear automatically. If no coordinates are available, a message will indicate that.
