Custom pricing catalogs let you charge specific agents or brokerages different prices than your standard rates. Build a catalog once, set per-service and per-package price overrides, then attach it to any client who should get those prices, such as a discounted rate for a high-volume agent. This guide covers creating a catalog and assigning it.
What is a catalog?
A catalog is a named set of price overrides. For each service and package you can enter a special price, or leave it blank to keep your default. When a catalog is attached to a client, those overrides apply to their orders. Everything you don't override stays at your normal price.
Creating a catalog
- In the sidebar, expand Ordering and click Catalogs.
- Click Add Catalog in the top-right corner.
- Enter a Title (required), naming it after the client or deal, like "Acme Realty" or "Volume Discount."
- In the Services and Packages sections, enter an override price next to any item you want to change. The item's default price is shown for reference.
- Click Save.
Setting overrides
- Each service and package has a price field. Type the new price to override it.
- Leave a field blank (it shows Use default) to keep your standard price for that item.
- For services or packages with square footage tiers, you'll see a row for each tier (with its size range and default price). Override any tier individually, or leave it blank to keep the default for that tier.
You only need to fill in the items you actually want to discount or change; anything left blank simply uses your normal pricing.
Assigning a catalog to an agent
- Open the agent's detail page (from Clients, click the agent).
- Click Edit to open their dialog.
- Turn on the Custom Pricing toggle.
- Choose the catalog from the Select catalog dropdown.
- Save the agent.
The agent's detail page shows the assigned catalog under Custom pricing (or Default when none is attached).
Assigning a catalog to a brokerage
- Open the brokerage's detail page and click Edit.
- Turn on the Custom Pricing toggle.
- Choose the catalog from the Select catalog dropdown.
- Save the brokerage.
The Custom Pricing toggle is disabled until you've created at least one catalog. Create the catalog first, then come back to assign it.
Managing catalogs
On the Catalogs page you can:
- Search catalogs by name.
- See how many item prices each catalog overrides.
- Use the edit button to change a catalog's name or its overrides.
- Use the delete button to remove a catalog and all of its overrides.
Tips
- Create one catalog per pricing arrangement and reuse it across every agent at a brokerage that shares the deal.
- Only override the items that actually differ; leaving the rest blank keeps them in sync with your standard prices automatically.
