Settings panel overview

Below the Media sections on the listing detail page, you will find the Settings panel. This is where you control the listing's URLs, visibility toggles, design appearance, and domain settings.

URLs and Visibility Toggles

The top card in the Settings panel contains four toggles and their associated URLs:

Property Website

  • Toggle: Enables or disables the public property website for this listing.
  • URL: Shown below the toggle. Click it to copy the link to your clipboard.
  • When disabled, visitors who try to access the property website URL will not be able to view it.

Download Page

  • Toggle: Enables or disables the client download page.
  • URL: The link your client uses to download the original, full-resolution files.
  • Click the URL to copy it to your clipboard.

Require Payment

  • Toggle: When enabled, downloads are locked until the invoice for this job is paid.
  • Use this if you want to ensure payment before releasing the files.

Marketing Materials

  • Toggle: Enables or disables the marketing design tools for this listing.
  • When enabled, your clients can access marketing templates and design tools for the property.

Domain Settings

Click on Domain Settings to expand this collapsible section.

URL Slug

The URL slug is the part of the property website URL that identifies this listing. For example, if your listings domain is listings.yourdomain.com, the full URL would be listings.yourdomain.com/your-slug-here.

To edit the slug:

  1. Click into the slug input field.
  2. Type your desired slug. Only lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens are allowed. Other characters are automatically converted to hyphens.
  3. Photeria will check if the slug is available (not already used by another listing in your organization).
  4. If it is available, click the Save button that appears.
  5. If the slug is already in use, you will see an error message.

Tips for good URL slugs:

  • Use the street address, like 123-main-street.
  • Keep it short and descriptive.
  • Avoid special characters.

When the slug is saved and not being edited, a copy button appears next to it so you can quickly copy the full URL.

Custom Domain

If your organization has a custom domain configured for listings, you can also set up a custom domain for individual listings in this section. This is useful for premium properties that deserve their own branded URL.

Design Settings

Click on Design Settings to expand this collapsible section. Here you can customize how the property website looks.

Colors

  • Primary - The accent color used for buttons, links, and interactive elements on the property website. This defaults to the agent's brokerage primary color.
  • Background - The page background color. Defaults to the brokerage background color.

After adjusting the colors, click Save Colors.

Layout Options

The layout section offers several visual choices, each presented as a pair of clickable cards:

  • Font - Choose between Sans Serif (modern, clean) and Serif (classic, elegant).
  • Borders - Choose between Rounded (soft corners) and Sharp (square corners).
  • Header Style - Choose between Solid (colored header bar above the hero) and Transparent (navigation floats over the hero image).
  • Quick Facts - Choose between Icons (each fact displayed as an icon with a label) and Table (facts displayed in a row/table format).
  • Photo Gallery - Choose between Grid (uniform grid of thumbnails) and Carousel (scrollable side-by-side images).

After making your selections, click Save Layout.

Custom CSS

For advanced users, you can add custom CSS to further customize the property website's appearance.

1. Type your CSS rules in the text area. 2. Click Save CSS.

For example: .property-card { border-radius: 8px; }

Best Practices

  • Always set a URL slug before delivering a listing. This gives the property a clean, shareable URL.
  • Match the colors to the agent's brokerage branding for a professional look.
  • Enable the Property Website toggle before sending the delivery email so the link works immediately.
  • Use Require Payment for jobs where you want to ensure payment before file access.
