Staff-only page. Non-staff users land on the dashboard if they try to open it.
Where to find it
Sidebar: Templates → Marketing.
Templates is a sidebar group with three sub-pages:
- Marketing - this page. Visual templates for listing marketing.
- Email - transactional email templates (see Email Templates).
- SMS - coming soon (see SMS Templates).
The page layout
Two sections stack vertically:
- Your Designs - templates owned by your organization. Grid of cards with thumbnail, name, Published/Draft badge, and a three-dot menu.
- Global templates - shared starter library grouped by category. Each card has a Use Template button that clones the global template into your org as a new draft. Each category group also ends with a Create Blank tile for starting from scratch at that template's size.
Toolbar
- Search - filter by template name.
- Category dropdown - filter by category (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) or "All Categories".
- Status dropdown - All Status / Draft / Published.
- Create Template button - top-right, opens the Create dialog.
Creating a template
Two paths:
From the Create Template dialog
- Click Create Template.
- Fill in:
- Name - required, shown to agents.
- Type - Image (a still design) or Video (a slideshow with transitions).
- Category - pick from your existing categories, or choose Custom to type a new category name on the spot.
- Size - pick a preset (grouped by Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Print), or choose Custom to enter your own width and height (up to 4000 × 4000 px).
- Click Create Template. You land in the editor.
From a global template
Click Use Template on any global card. A copy is created under your org and the editor opens. Customize it, then publish.
From Create Blank
Each category group in the global section ends with a blank card. Click it to create an empty template at that template's size.
Editing a template
Open the editor by:
- Clicking the thumbnail, or
- Three-dot menu → Edit
The editor is the same one agents use, with staff-only features:
Tagging mode
Bind elements on the canvas to dynamic data fields like address, price, photos, agent name, and brokerage logo. When an agent creates a design from the template, those bindings resolve automatically against the listing.
Tag everything dynamic before publishing. A well-tagged template produces ready-to-send designs with no manual edits.
Manual save
Templates save manually. Click Save in the editor header. (Agent designs auto-save; templates don't.)
Publishing
Status determines agent visibility:
- Draft (amber badge) - staff only. Hidden from agents.
- Published (green badge) - agents can use it.
Toggle published status by:
- Clicking the badge directly on the card, or
- Three-dot menu → Publish / Unpublish
Unpublishing hides the template from agents but leaves existing designs untouched.
Other row actions
Three-dot menu on each card:
- Edit - open in the editor.
- Duplicate - copy as a new draft. Editor opens on the copy.
- Settings - rename, change category, set status, and control visibility (all agents, or specific brokerages/agents).
- Publish / Unpublish - toggle status.
- Delete - permanent. Confirmation required. Existing agent designs based on this template still work; only the template is removed.
Categories and sizes
When you create a template you pick a category and a size.
- Categories group templates for agents (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Print, and any custom categories your team adds). Choose Custom in the Create dialog to add a new one.
- Sizes are canvas presets within each category (e.g. Instagram Post 1080×1080, Instagram Story 1080×1920, Letter Portrait 2550×3300). Choose Custom to set your own width and height up to 4000 × 4000 px.
When cloning, the size comes from the source template.
Global templates
Templates marked global aren't owned by any org. They're read-only, so you can't edit or delete them. Clone one with Use Template to make your own editable copy.
Best practices
- Use descriptive names ("Just Listed: Instagram Story") so agents find the right one fast.
- Tag all dynamic fields before publishing.
- Keep works-in-progress as Draft. Publish only when ready.
- Preview as an agent via impersonation to verify the design renders correctly with real listing data.
