This guide explains how agents create professional marketing materials (flyers, social media posts, brochures, and more) for their listings using pre-built templates and a built-in design editor.

Accessing Marketing Materials

  1. Log in to the client portal.
  2. Click Listings in the header.
  3. Find the listing you want to create materials for. Either:
    • Click the marketing icon on the listing card, or
    • Open the listing and click into the Marketing section.

If marketing is disabled for a listing, the page shows a notice instead of templates.

Browsing Templates

Templates are organized into categories (such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Print). Each section shows:

  • The category name and an optional description
  • A grid of template thumbnails that you can preview before selecting
  • A Create Blank option at the end of each row, for starting from scratch with that category's size

Templates can be either still images or short videos. A video template plays as a slideshow with transitions when you preview it.

Templates are created and published by your photography company's team. Only published templates are visible to agents.

Creating a Design from a Template

  1. Browse the available templates grouped by category.
  2. Click on a template thumbnail, or click the Use Template button below it.
  3. The system creates a new design based on that template, automatically filling in your listing's property data (address, price, photos, agent info, and brokerage details).
  4. You are taken directly to the design editor to customize the design.

While the design is being created, you will see a loading spinner on the template card. This usually takes just a second.

Creating a Blank Design

If you want to start from a blank canvas:

  1. Scroll to the end of a category section.
  2. Click the blank card with the plus icon, or click the Create Blank button.
  3. A new blank design is created at that template's size.
  4. You are taken to the design editor.

Managing Your Designs

After you have created designs, they appear in a Your Designs section at the top of the Marketing page, above the templates.

Each design card shows:

  • A thumbnail preview of the design
  • The design name
  • The date it was last edited

Available Actions

  • Click the thumbnail to open the design in the editor
  • Download icon - Opens the design in the editor where you can export it
  • Trash icon - Deletes the design (a confirmation dialog will appear)

Using the Design Editor

The design editor is a full-featured canvas editor that opens when you create or edit a design. It includes:

On desktop, the left sidebar contains tool tabs for:

  • Text - Add and edit text elements
  • Photos - Add listing photos or upload your own
  • Elements - Add shapes, icons, and QR codes (e.g., linking to the property website)
  • Background - Set the canvas background color or image
  • Layers - View and reorder everything on the design
  • Resize - Change the canvas size

On mobile, these tools appear as a bottom tab bar.

Canvas

The main canvas area shows your design. You can:

  • Click to select elements
  • Drag to move elements around
  • Resize elements using corner handles
  • Use the toolbar at the top for alignment, layering, and duplication

Toolbar

When you select an element on the canvas, a context-sensitive toolbar appears with options specific to that element type. For example:

  • Text elements - Font family, size, color, alignment, bold, italic, underline
  • Images - Crop, filters, opacity
  • Shapes - Fill color, stroke, corner radius

Zoom Controls

At the bottom of the editor (on desktop), zoom controls let you zoom in and out of the canvas for precise editing.

Editing Video Designs

If your design is a video, a timeline appears at the bottom of the editor. Each slide is a bar on the timeline. You can:

  • Play / pause the video to preview it
  • Add, duplicate, delete, and reorder slides
  • Drag a slide's edge to change how long it stays on screen
  • Set a transition between slides (Fade, Dissolve, Slide, Zoom, and more)

Auto-save

Designs save automatically as you edit. A cloud icon in the header reflects save status. No manual save needed.

Downloading Your Design

You can download a design from the editor header, or straight from its card on the Marketing page using the download icon. Either opens a Download panel.

For image designs, choose a file type:

  • PNG - best for high quality images
  • JPG - best for sharing (smaller file); includes a quality slider
  • PDF - best for printing and documents; choose Standard or Print quality

Use the Size slider to set the output resolution, up to 3Γ— the canvas size. The exact pixel dimensions are shown below the slider. If your design has multiple pages, you can pick which ones to include.

For video designs, you download an MP4 video. Choose a Resolution (up to 4K, depending on the design's size) and a Quality level. A progress bar shows while the video is being created.

Once you confirm, the design is rendered and downloaded to your computer.

Data Binding

Templates can include dynamic data fields that automatically populate with information from your listing. Common bound fields include:

  • Property address
  • Listing price
  • Agent name and contact info
  • Brokerage name and logo
  • Property photos

When you create a design from a template, these fields are resolved automatically so your design is ready to go with minimal editing.
