The dashboard is the first thing you see when you log in. It gives you a quick overview of your business and fast access to the tools you use most. This guide walks you through every section of the interface.

The sidebar

The sidebar on the left side of the screen is your main navigation. It is organized into sections.

Top section

  • Dashboard: Your home screen with widgets and quick actions. Click the Photeria icon at the top of the sidebar to return here at any time.

Manage section

These are the pages you will visit most often:

  • Jobs: View, create, and manage all your photography jobs. Filter by status, search by address or client name, and assign photographers.

  • Listings: Browse all your property listings. Each listing holds media, property details, and links to its public property website.

  • Clients: Your directory of real estate agents and other clients. Add new clients, view their job history, and manage contact details.

  • Invoices: Track invoices across all your jobs. See which invoices are paid, unpaid, or partially paid.

Configure section

These pages help you set up and customize your business:

  • Ordering: Define the photography services you offer and bundle them into packages with flexible pricing options.

  • Templates: Manage marketing templates and email templates for your business.

  • Team: Invite staff members, assign roles, and manage permissions so each team member sees only what they need.

  • Billing: Manage your Photeria subscription and payment methods.

  • Settings: Configure your company details, branding, custom domains, service areas, scheduling preferences, legal pages, and integrations.

Collapsing the sidebar

Click the chevron button near the top of the sidebar to collapse it into an icon-only mode. This gives you more screen space when you need it. Hover over any icon to see a tooltip with the page name. Click the chevron again to expand.

Your profile menu

At the bottom of the sidebar, you will see your avatar and name. Click on it to open a dropdown menu with two options:

  • Edit Profile: Update your name, photo, and other personal details.

  • Sign Out: Log out of your account.

Dashboard widgets

The dashboard is made up of widgets arranged in three rows. Each widget shows a different piece of information about your business.

Top row widgets

The top row displays up to four summary tiles. The available options are:

  • Total Revenue: Your total revenue over a selected time period.

  • Scheduled Jobs: The number of jobs currently in "Scheduled" status.

  • Unpaid Invoices: A count and total of invoices that have not been paid.

  • Weather: Current weather for your area (handy for planning outdoor shoots).

  • Active Listings: The number of listings currently active.

  • New Clients: How many new clients you have gained recently.

Graph widgets

Below the top row, you may see a full-width graph:

  • Revenue Graph: A visual chart showing your revenue trends over the last 30 days.

Content widgets

The bottom section shows up to two larger widgets side by side:

  • Upcoming Jobs: A list of your next scheduled jobs with dates, addresses, and assigned photographers.

  • Quick Actions: A grid of shortcut buttons for common tasks like creating a new job, viewing clients, and checking invoices.

Quick Actions shortcuts

The Quick Actions widget gives you one-click access to:

  • New Job: Opens the job creation dialog

  • View Jobs: Goes to the Jobs page

  • Add Client: Opens the new client form

  • View Clients: Goes to the Clients page

  • Listings: Goes to the Listings page

  • Invoices: Goes to the Invoices page

Customizing your dashboard

You can choose which widgets appear and rearrange their order.

  1. Click the Customize button in the top-right area of the dashboard (next to the greeting message).

  2. A panel will open showing all available widgets organized by category: Top Row, Graphs, and Content.

  3. Use the toggle switches to show or hide individual widgets.

  4. Drag and drop widgets within a category to change their display order.

  5. Click Save to apply your changes.

Your layout preferences are saved to your profile, so the dashboard will look the same every time you log in, even from a different device.

The greeting

At the top of the dashboard, you will see a personalized greeting based on the time of day ("Good morning," "Good afternoon," or "Good evening") followed by your first name. Below it, a subtitle reads: "Here's what's happening with your business today."
