Services are the foundation of your ordering system. Each one is a specific offering like interior photography, drone video, or virtual staging. Find them under Ordering → Services.
Creating a service
Click Add Service and give it a clear, client-friendly Name and a short Description (both appear on the order form).
Service type
The Service Type (formerly "Skill") drives scheduling: only team members who have that type on their profile can be assigned to an appointment that includes this service. Pick a type, or choose No type if it doesn't apply. Manage the list under Team → Service Types.
Pricing
Every service uses one of three pricing models:
- Fixed - one price for everyone, regardless of property size. Best when the scope doesn't change.
- Tiered - the price changes with property size, so a 1,000 sq ft condo costs less than a 5,000 sq ft estate. See Sq Ft Based Pricing for the full setup and rules.
- Quantity - charges per unit, ideal for things like "Extra Photos" where clients pick how many. Set the min and max quantity, the unit name (shown on the order form), and the price per unit.
Appointment and duration
Requires appointment decides whether the service is scheduled:
- On - the service is booked into an appointment on the job. Set its duration, and only team members with the matching Service Type can be assigned.
- Off - the service is ordered without scheduling, with no duration or team requirement. Use this for off-site work like virtual staging.
When it's on, set the duration as Fixed (a set number of minutes) or Tiered (varies by property size, same setup as tiered pricing). Duration drives scheduling and availability.
Extras
- Gallery - images or video links shown when clients click into the service.
- Recommended add-ons - other services suggested when a client selects this one, like recommending virtual staging alongside interior photography.
- Tasks - task templates that auto-create task instances for staff when this service is added to a job. Templates are managed under Ordering → Tasks; see Task Management.
- Questions - intake prompts attached to this service. The questions themselves are created under Ordering → Questions; attaching one here just controls which services it shows up on.
Automatically create
Set up listing extras to fire the moment this service is ordered, whether on the original order or added to the job later:
- Property website - creates and publishes a property website for the listing automatically. Turning this on reveals Enable website editor, which lets the agent edit their website's sections and slideshow.
- Marketing editor - turns on the marketing editor for the listing automatically.
Leave these off to set up websites and the marketing editor by hand.
Managing services
Click a service to edit it. You can also duplicate one (copies all pricing tiers, duration tiers, and settings) or add it to your default order form. Deleting a service also removes it from any packages, add-on links, and order forms.
Tips
- Start with your most popular services; add more later.
- Not sure about pricing? Start with fixed and switch to tiered later.
- Inactive services don't appear on order forms, so you can build them in advance and activate when ready.
