Adding an area

Click Add Area and fill in:

  • Name - something descriptive like "Downtown Metro" or "Extended Range."
  • Center address - the origin point for a radius area.
  • Shape - either a radius (a circle of so many miles around the center, default 50) or a custom polygon you draw on the map for irregular boundaries. To draw a custom shape, click points to outline the boundary and double-click to close it; drag points to adjust.
  • Travel fee - an optional charge added to orders in this area. Set it to $0 if there's no surcharge. Useful when a location is far from your base.

Managing areas

Each area shows its coverage, travel fee, and how many team members are assigned. Click an area to edit it. Use its toggle to disable an area temporarily without deleting it, disabled areas aren't offered to clients. Deleting an area is permanent and also removes all staff assignments to it.

Tips

  • Start with one area centered on your main office, then expand.
  • Use custom shapes to follow natural boundaries like city limits or highways.
  • Assign team members to areas so the system can match photographers to jobs in their region.
