Payment Methods

Photeria uses Stripe to process all platform payments. You add or change the card on file from the Billing page.

Photeria uses Stripe to process all platform payments. You add or change the card on file from the Billing page.

Supported card brands

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Discover
  • Diners Club
  • JCB
  • UnionPay

Viewing your current card

Go to Billing. The Payment Method card on the right shows:

  • Brand logo
  • Last four digits
  • Expiration (MM/YY)

If no card is on file you'll see: "No card on file. Add a payment method to continue using Photeria."

Adding a card

  1. On the Payment Method card click Add Card.
  2. "Add Payment Method" dialog opens: "Add a card to enable automatic billing for your Photeria account."
  3. Enter card details in the Stripe form.
  4. Click Save Card.

The new card becomes the default immediately.

Changing the card

  1. Click Change Card on the Payment Method card.
  2. "Change Payment Method" dialog opens: "Enter your new card details below. This will replace your current card on file."
  3. Enter new card details.
  4. Click Save Card.

The new card replaces the old one immediately.

Security

All card data goes directly to Stripe. Photeria never sees or stores full card numbers, since the input fields are hosted by Stripe inside a secure iframe.

What happens after you save a card

  • Automatic billing - Stripe charges the card at the end of each cycle.
  • Outstanding invoices - if you had unpaid invoices, Stripe retries charging them with the new card automatically.
  • Suspended account - adding a valid card triggers Stripe's retry. Once the balance clears, access is restored.

Troubleshooting

"Failed to load payment form"

Click Retry under the error. If it keeps failing, check your internet connection and try again.

Card declined

Stripe returns the decline reason. Common causes: insufficient funds, expired card, 3D Secure verification required. Try a different card or contact your bank.

Who can manage payment methods?

Billing: Read is required to see the Billing page. Billing: Manage is required to add or change the payment method. If you don't see Billing in the sidebar or the Add/Change Card button, ask an admin with Roles: Manage to adjust your role.
