Connecting AI Assistants

Connect an AI assistant like Claude or ChatGPT to Photeria and run parts of your business by chatting with it. Once connected, you can ask it to look up jobs, listings, and account details, or edit listing text, in plain English instead of clicking through menus.

The assistant always acts with your existing permissions, so it can't do anything you couldn't do yourself. Sensitive actions like payments, deletions, and sending emails stay off-limits to it.

Setting up a connection

Connect and manage assistants from My Profile → MCP.

1. Click Set up MCP and choose your assistant: ChatGPT, Claude, or Other tool for any MCP-compatible client (Cursor, VS Code, Goose, etc.).
2. Copy your endpoint URL.
3. Add it in your assistant following the on-screen steps, then sign in to Photeria and click Allow to authorize.

Once authorized, the assistant appears under Connected apps.

ChatGPT note: custom connectors require Developer mode, available on Plus, Pro, Team, and Enterprise. Turn it on under Settings → Connectors → Advanced before adding Photeria.

Managing and removing

Connected apps lists each assistant with when it was connected and last used. Disconnect any of them and it immediately loses access; reconnect any time by setting it up again.

The connection uses secure OAuth, so you stay in control and authorize directly with Photeria.
