Creating CubiCasa floor plans

Written By David Dayan

Connect your CubiCasa account so Photeria creates a CubiCasa draft for each listing. The draft is waiting in the CubiCasa app with the address filled in. When you finish scanning and CubiCasa delivers the floor plan, it is added to the listing's floor plans automatically.

CubiCasa bills your own CubiCasa account for each floor plan, as it does today. Photeria does not charge for the connection.

Connect your business

You need Settings: Manage permission and a CubiCasa account that can create API keys.

  1. In CubiCasa, open Settings → Company → Developers and create an API key.

  2. In Photeria, open Settings → Integrations.

  3. Under CubiCasa, select Connect CubiCasa.

  4. Paste the API key and select Connect.

Connecting CubiCasa with an API key

If you create a new key in CubiCasa, return to this card and select Update API key.

Create drafts automatically

  1. Open Ordering → Services and edit your floor plan service.

  2. Under Automatically Create, turn on CubiCasa draft.

  3. Choose a Package, or keep Account default to use the package set in your CubiCasa account.

  4. Select Update.

When a job with that service is booked, Photeria creates the draft right away, so it is waiting in the CubiCasa app before the shoot. If clients pay when they order, the draft is created once the payment goes through. A listing has one CubiCasa draft in progress at a time.

Create a draft from a listing

Listings booked before you turned on the service option, or a one-off like a reshoot, can get a draft by hand. On the listing's Floor Plans card, select Create draft. Open that draft in the CubiCasa app at the property and scan. When CubiCasa finishes processing, the floor plans appear on the listing automatically. Requested revisions replace the earlier floor plans.

Who owns the draft in CubiCasa

Photeria creates the draft under the photographer assigned to the job when their email is a user on your CubiCasa account, so it appears in their CubiCasa app. Otherwise the draft belongs to your CubiCasa account's main email.

Troubleshooting

  • Add the listing's street and city before creating a CubiCasa draft: CubiCasa needs an address. Open the linked job and edit Property, then try again.

  • CubiCasa rejected the API key: the key was deleted or changed in CubiCasa. Select Update API key on the listing's Floor Plans card, or in Settings → Integrations, and paste a new one.

  • The floor plans were delivered but are not on the listing: download them from your CubiCasa account and add them with Add.
