Setting your service areas

Define where your team accepts bookings and add a travel fee for areas that cost more to reach.

Define where your team accepts bookings and add a travel fee for areas that cost more to reach. Photeria checks the property's address against your active service areas when a client orders.

Add an area

  1. Open Settings → Scheduling and click Add Area.

  2. Enter a Name and search for the Center Point. Select the matching address.

  3. Choose Radius and enter the distance you cover, or choose Custom to draw a boundary on the map.

  4. Set the Travel Fee. Use zero when no extra charge applies.

  5. Click Add Area.

A custom service area with boundary points, map tools, and Add Area

For a custom shape, choose Draw boundary and click each corner. Click the first point again to close the shape. Use Edit boundary to move its points, or Move map to pan without changing the area. The undo button removes the last point while drawing.

Change your coverage

Click an existing area to edit its boundary or travel fee. Turn an area off when you temporarily stop accepting bookings there.

Assign photographers to the areas they cover so Photeria can offer suitable appointment times. See Setting photographer availability.

Deleting an area also removes its staff assignments. Turn it off instead if you expect to use it again.
