Google Calendar

Two-way sync between your Photeria schedule and Google Calendar. Events on your Google calendars block scheduling in Photeria; jobs scheduled in Photeria write to your chosen Google calendar.

Google Calendar connects per user, not per organization. Each team member connects their own Google account.

Where to connect

This integration lives on your profile, not under Settings → Integrations.

1. Click your avatar/name in the bottom-left of the sidebar to open My Profile.
2. Click the Schedule tab.
3. Scroll to the Google Calendar card.

Connecting

1. My Profile → Schedule → Connect Google Calendar.
2. Sign in with the Google account you want to use.
3. Review permissions and click Allow.

After connecting, the Google Calendar icon lights up next to your name on Team → Members.

Settings

Block Availability From

Toggles per calendar. Turn on any calendar whose events should block scheduling (personal, primary, shared team calendars). Turn off ones that shouldn't (birthdays, holidays).

Each row shows the calendar name and color dot. Primary is labeled "(Primary)."

Save Jobs To

Dropdown picking which Google calendar receives new job events. Defaults to primary.

Events written to Google include the property address, time, and a link back to the job in Photeria.

Saving

Click Save Changes after editing preferences. Refresh pulls an updated calendar list from Google (useful if you just made a new calendar).

Two-way sync behavior

• Photeria → Google - job scheduled/updated → event created/updated on "Save Jobs To" calendar.
• Google → Photeria - events on watched calendars block availability during their time window.

Re-authorization

If your Google Calendar connection stops working, the Schedule tab shows a warning. Click Reconnect Google Calendar to fix it.

Disconnecting

1. My Profile → Schedule → Google Calendar card → Disconnect.
2. Confirm.

Already-synced events stay on your Google Calendar. Future sync stops.

Troubleshooting

No calendars appear after connecting

Click Refresh. Still empty? Disconnect and reconnect.

Jobs aren't showing on my calendar

• Check "Save Jobs To" is set and saved.
• Check the yellow re-auth banner isn't showing.

Availability isn't blocking correctly

Confirm the relevant calendars are toggled on under "Block Availability From." Only watched calendars block.
